Teaching in the Territory

Getting the right people in the right schools is vital for achieving successful outcomes for our students. If you believe you have the passion and commitment to deliver quality education then we want to hear from you - we will find you the right position in the right school.

The Northern Territory is a diverse place with students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Over 40% of our 150 schools are in a remote or very remote location.

Teaching remote is a different teaching experience. It requires committed and highly skilled teachers with specific attributes. The Remote Teaching Service was established to support teachers in recognition of the challenges and rewards that brilliant teachers can gain from working in remote Indigenous schools.
