Murray Downs School is located 205km south of Tennant Creek on Murray Downs Station, near the Imangara community. The population of the surrounding community is approximately 50. Murray Downs Station can be accessed via road; 4WD only and access is dependent on weather conditions.
Murray Downs School is part of the Barkly Group School and provides education services to students from preschool to middle years. Students take part in some sporting and class activities at nearby Ali Curung School.
