Nyirrpi School is located approximately 450km northwest of Alice Springs in the community of Nyirrpi. The population of the community is approximately 320; the community is mainly comprised of Warlpiri people but there is also a large group of Pintubi. The community can be accessed via road, 4WD only, and access during the wet season can be severely restricted. Nyirripi can also be accessed via air through chartered air services only.
