Teachers are required for schools in Indigenous communities which may cater early childhood, primary and secondary students (depending on the school/location).

Community population: 500

Minyerri School is about 270 km southeast of Katherine in the community of Minyerri. The population of the community is approximately 500 and is within the area of the Hodgson Downs station, a working cattle station. The community can be accessed all year round; 4WD recommended during the wet season.

Due to positive engagement between the school and the community, the average attendance for the school during the first three terms is very high in comparison to schools in similar communities. The school implements the Accelerated Literacy program, and has in place a whole school approach for numeracy focussing on explicit teaching.
